The principle behind the Thunderflash Thugometer ™ is simple. After each game the penalty minutes for the Sheffield Steelers are added to a running total of the figures for all their games (the green line). The Steelers' opponents' penalty minutes are also added to a running total of all the penalties incurred by opponents in matches against them (red line). As the season unfolds these figures are plotted on the graph to see if the Steelers are awarded more penalty minutes than their opponents, or vice versa.

So, reading this graph is quite simple.

* Red line above green line - the Steelers are quite nice guys really and you wouldn't mind your daughter marrying one.

* Green line above red line - lock your doors, the Steelers are in town.
